Hi, i have high speed internet and i want to know the following things:

I have a USB ADSL modem connected to my PC and a laptop shares the internet connection from the PC.

This product: http://www.aria.co.uk/ProductInfoComm.asp?ID=8459

With the above product could i set it up so that either PC or laptop can connect to the internet without being dependant on my PC.

So say my laptop was left on all night, i dont need to leave my PC on all night either to share the internet connection. The laptop would get the internet from the new ADSL modem.

If this makes sence, then please try to answer it lol!

Thanks in advance,
Jon

Hello ,

Whats the idee ???
to share more computer true one ADSL connection ???
so yes , install a broadband router
for example UR-Robtics A8000 serie
you can share up to 253 pc's with this.

if it only for remote access by other users
install something like remote desktop if it XP on the guest pc

or if it Win2000 install on both pc's NetOp one in guest mode and one in Host mode.

like you told , and i don't know what your set-up is your PC or laptop must be ON when your PC or laptop is OFF you close your shared connection it's simple as that
