Highly useful and FREE ASP scripts and components. Scripts include a Shoutbox, Hitcounter, and an Image Gallery. Components include an Upload component, SysInfo component, and an image resizing component. Most of these components can run directly from the CGI-BIN and do not need to be installed on the server! This is extremely useful if your host does not allow custom components to be installed on their servers.
A special note: The author says that the SysInfo component has two other components included with it, one component allows timing the execution of a script or parts of a script. The other can pause a script for a specified amount of time. Both of these are some of the most requested functions on many ASP forums all across the net.
I have used the image resizing component myself and while the syntax is tricky, it works GREAT, and I didn't have to bother Terry (http://www.definitivehosting.com) to install a special component! :)
