I am trying to put together a site to make my life easier. Every week, my friends and I go out and bowl, sometimes more then once a week. I would like to design a place where i can enter all these scores in, and use them to do calculations. That may seem simple, however, I want it to be accessable by the web, and there are about 25 bowlers, and 660 games so far. I would also like a section where people can put in whether they are going to show up on a particular bowling night or not, however they have to be able to change it up til the day of the event, and have an up-to-date list of whose coming.

What would be the best way to write this? What would be the best langauge? How difficult would it be?

Any help given would be greatly appriciated.

Thank you for your assistance.

Either ASP or PHP would be fine for this, but you'll also have to have database space (probably MySQL).

Shouldn't be too hard.

how difficult is it for someone who doesn't really do all that well with programming to learn the SQL, and php/asp to do something like this?

If I were to hire someone, how much do you think they would charge me?
How many hours would it take approx. if you had to guess?

Also, which of the two langauges would work better for the project? which would be easier to learn of the two?

Personally, I think ASP would be easier, but is b/c that's what I know better.

To develop something like this shouldn't take someone more than a couple hours I wouldn't thing...charges would vary greatly.

Drop my a pm...we can talk!
