Take a look at www.zfwartcc.org/test/images/menu.gif

I need to slice this image up, I keep having trouble with it. I have trouble when it comes to menus and stuff...

Thanks for the help!

How do you want it sliced up? Menu box in corner, bar across the top and menu items in the middle?

Your question doesn't give too many specifics... :)

Sorry!

The two ">>"s in one cell, the bar to the right of that in another.
and the menu in the middle with the bottom in another cell.

Thanks!

First, I'm glad to see you are into Flight Sim too ;)

Second, here's a freeware oldie but a goodie:

http://www.cyberspalace.de/htm/toolse3.htm

Click on the link to download the Picture Dicer. This is an older freeware image slicing and dicing program that I stull use to this day to chop up images and things. If you do decide to use this one, you will probably need to cut the image into 2 images (cut the top blue bar away from the white box first) then load up that top bar and cut the arrows off, rename your images to whatever you want, and you're done.

I don't use Photoshop often but I think it has the ability to chop images up as well. I don't remember. Maybe it was Paint Shop pro?

Anyway if you don't like that image dicer I'm sure you can find tons of image slicing software all over the internet. Just Google around for image dicers...

Thanks, for the reply.

Yea, I am very interested in Flight Simming! :)

I use Photoshop to slice my images, but I am not very good with slicing menus and stuff like that. I can't get it sliced and layed out into HTML correctly. I always mess something up, so I thought I would come ask here.

If you can, can you lay it out into HTML for me. Sorry, I know this sounds stupid, but I am having so much hell with it, I am about to throw the computer out the window!

Thanks again!

Incidently, that image dicer program will create the HTML necessary to lay the sections out as one image...but I have a few moments here. I'll see what I can do.

Sorry about that. I got sidetracked with one of my own sites LOL

Anyway, I've taken that image, sliced it, and made 2 tables for you. So, I have this zip file here and I'll try to include it with this post. I've never tried to include a file before so hopefully I won't screw it up ;)

Oh, I forgot to mention that the arrows and the blue bar next to them are actually two seperate images. They are both contained in the same table cell rather than two seperate cells. This was done in order to provide the most amount of space in the center of the table itself. Sorry, my documentation isn't very informative but hopfully you can figure it out by the HTML source.
