I am not much of a programmer but had some experience in the deep past with Fortran and Pascal as a student. I have an 11 year old son, who I think may be ready for a bit of a challenge. He is fairly intelligent and I would like to introduce him to programming, and at the same time I will have to learn/relearn. Problem is I need to select an appropriate language. Attributes would be ease, utility, cost and availablity of documentation/guides/help. Can anyone suggest something??
